Lemon Sour

After my recent trip from Japan i have found what can only be described as as a kindred bond to the lemon sour, and so the start of my journey to make the ultimate lemon sour

Attempt 1

• 100g lemon
• 50g Simple Syrup
• 75ml Soju
• soda water from my sodastream

Takeaways

• Started with half a lemon, was not sour enough, will probably need a bit of lemon juice even with a whole lemon or less syrup
• Not fizzy enough, will need to use more soda water or maybe even a more carbonated soda water (4 pumps in the soda stream)
• More Soju might be needed, 2 shots should be around 88ml, shochu has a higher abv so might need to substitute
