Butt stuff

Is there a reason why the bidet isn't more prominent in the western world?
Is it all just lobbying from big TP corpo to stop clean assholes?
Are people afraid of admitting they like a little water up the butt?

Back from a recent trip to Japan, there's no doubt that the bidet is superior in all aspects compared to raw dogging your ass with toilet paper. So the question is why doesn't the rest of the world adopt the water gun?
